Treasures of Montezuma is a tile-matching puzzle game that takes the old-school and familiar match-three genre and mixes it with the new-school style of tower defense. As you begin the game, the player is given an option to play in an 8-bit retro or classic-style world, with the classic being obviously easier than the retro. There are hidden treasures throughout the game that give you an advantage over the other players, but they have to be unlocked. Along with the gameplay, there are many different characters, gods, and monsters that you get to play around with. If you don’t want to be stopped by an enemy, you can easily change to an invincibility mode.
